Aviation radio transponder and navigation tester

The most authoritative radio test product

Transponder tester

Used for testing transponder mode A/C/S, TCAS I and II and DME, with small size, light weight, weatherproof and other characteristics.

Each test mode has a main user interface

Detachable antenna

The big screen

Simple user interface

Small size, light weight 8 LBS (3.6 kg)

6 hours battery life

Fully comply with the standards of appendix F in part 43 of FAR

European basic and enhanced monitoring function

The device has a very easy to use interface, and all the parameters that the user normally needs to see can be displayed on the screen.

control

Dedicated XPDR, DME, and TCAS mode keys enable users to quickly select working mode.

The application of related function keys and data selection/conversion keys provides an intuitive human-machine interface.

Select DME mode using dedicated keys to select frequency/channel and control rf levels. For parameters that change frequently in DME and TCAS modes, such as range and rate, the instrument provides dedicated keys.

Navigation tester

It is used for testing ILS, VOR, beacon and VHF/UHF communication and other avionics systems.

Accurate measurement of VHF/UHF transmitter frequency, output power, modulation (AM and FM), and receiver sensitivity

Precise measurement of HF transmitter frequency, output power, modulation (AM and SSB USB/LSB) and receiver sensitivity

Generate ARINC 596 to select the call signal

Accurate measurement of SWR for HF/VHF/UHF antennas and/or feeders

Use various DDM Settings to simulate course and glide path (CAT I, II, and III earth station) signals

Scanning positioning DDM for coupled automatic navigation testing (simulates course-track, glide track, and marker signals)

VOR beacon simulates different azimuth

Analog pointing beacon, optional waypoint (Z), external pointing and middle pointing signals

Accurate measurement of 121.5/243 MHz emergency beacon transmitter frequency, output power, modulation system (AM). Earphone audio output, used to monitor the scanning audio signal *

Accurate measurement of frequency and output power of 406 MHz COSPAS/SARSAT emergency beacon transmitter. Decode and display all locations and user protocols *

Wizard test functionality saves overall test time

5.7-inch LCD, adjustable backlight and contrast

The built-in battery can be used continuously for 8 hours

The equipment is used to verify the performance and installation of ILS, VOR and beacon receivers, as well as VHF/UHF AM/FM and HF AM/SSB transceivers

Lightweight (less than 8 LBS), long battery life (8 hours), and ergonomic design, it has become the most portable navigation and communication field tester on the market. It can easily switch between cabin test and infield test modes.

The way the menu launches the functionality and the wizard tests the functionality makes it extremely easy to operate. In addition, the price is very favorable, allowing the user to have a more valuable instrument.

The equipment supports testing in an outfield or infield environment through a three-mode antenna equipped for aerial measurements or a direct connection to the rf I/O port.

VOR is capable of generating signals at frequencies ranging from 108.00 to 117.95 MHz. The signal has an amplitude modulation of 30 Hz variable phase and 9960 Hz (subcarrier frequency with 30 Hz reference phase modulation), and each audio signal is modulated by 30%. The IFR 4000 also supports VOR orientation selection with a preset step length of 30 degrees and a variable step length of 0.1 degrees.

The course track test USES 90 Hz and 150 Hz audio signals to generate signals at frequencies ranging from 108.10 to 111.95 MHz. These two audio signals have amplitude modulation of 20% per audio signal. It provides variable DDM control and fixed DDM control.

The glide path test USES 90 Hz and 150 Hz audio signals to generate signals in the range 329.15 to 335.00 MHz. These two audio signals have a 40 percent amplitude modulation per audio signal. It provides variable DDM control and fixed DDM control.

The marker beacon can generate a 75 MHz signal with amplitude modulation of 95% of the 400, 1300, and 3000 Hz optional audio signals.

ILS also provides positioning (with sweep DDM), glide path and beacon signals.
